Based off of traditional Blues chord progressions, this song is my disillusioned response to completing the prescribed American Consumerist pathway of formalized-education-intented-to-garner-material-and-social-success. Not only is this pathway defunct, near impossible, and unapplicable to today's job market - but it does not necessarily garner HAPPINESS. Okay, 'nuff preachin, I was just bumming about having a Masters degree that don't get me no jobs. And preferring to spend my time in simple peace and nature, rather than worrying about material success. And believing in more than we can see. Its a song about how life never turns out how we expect - and that is OKAY and GOOD!
